which bring to mind something I noticed today by chance in an article in Wiki about Lucien Quélet: his claim that "humans, and most of the other creatures on Earth, had actually not become more advanced over history, but were gradually becoming more primitive."Not wanting to delve into a debate about person vs group psychology or the person behind the claim: I wonder if there have been any sociological studies with a similar hypothesis.
